Carrington College and our sister school, San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC), are making exciting changes to better serve our students. Starting this spring the trades programs offered by Carrington College will begin to transitions to SJVC, while Carrington College will focus on Healthcare. These programs will remain on the same campuses with the same trusted faculty and curriculum—only the name will change. During the transition, Carrington College and SJVC students will continue learning side by side in shared classrooms.
In the coming months, new students enrolling in trades programs will join the SJVC community. Carrington College will focus exclusively on allied health and medical programs, while SJVC will continue to offer trades programs.
If you’re currently enrolled in a Carrington College trades program, rest assured—you’ll complete your education at Carrington College with the same dedicated faculty and support you’ve come to rely on, with minimal changes or interruptions.
For current students, nothing changes—you’ll continue learning from the same dedicated faculty and staff who have supported you throughout your academic journey.
For our alumni, this transition marks an exciting new chapter for Carrington College. While our focus is now solely on allied health and medical programs, you remain an important part of our story, and we’re proud of the impact you’ve made in your fields.
